The last comparative analysis on construction in Romania released by the National Institute of Statistics<\/em> point out that the number of constructions in 2018 has increased on a monthly rate.<\/p>\n

In February, the volume of construction works increased compared to the previous month of 2018 by 4.6%.<\/p>\n

Overall, the volume of construction works increased by 13.9% for engineering related works and for non-residential buildings by 8.4%.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, the residential buildings sector has met a decrease by 14.2%.<\/p>\n

Compared to the same month of last year, the volume of construction works increased by number of working days and seasonality, by 10.7% and 6.9%.<\/p>\n

In addition, according to estimates in April 2018, construction activity is expected to increase in volume for the second quarter of 2018 (short term balance + 30%).<\/p>\n
